Behind the art…

Who Is MADE BY CHARL STUDIO?

Hello to the person behind the screen reading this! My name is Charlotte Walden, and I am an artist from Birmingham, UK. I have been working on this brand for over 3 years now, I have created this space to share my passion and love for all things creative, I am always looking for the next project to get stuck in to as I just cannot get enough of it. The more I make the more ideas I get.

Three quick facts about me:

  1. I recently collected my little buddy Axel, a golden retriever puppy who is my pride and joy already. He gets stuck in in my studio and certainly brightens up any rainy day, there is never a dull moment with him around.

  2. City life isn’t my vibe… for some people it’s the perfect place for inspiration, for me it’s the peace and quiet of the countryside or coastline that gives me the space to breath and create.

  3. There is rarely a time when music isn’t being played, most genres I am here for, anything from todays top hits to old school country songs…I am singing away (not very well)

My Background:

I have always been artistic from a young girl, to student, to employee and to now… Creating is what I do. I previously studied art and design and also worked at an interior designer company, and now I have made the leap to create my own business as an artist.

What I Do:

I produce my own original artwork, additionally I love working with a client to create custom commissions. It can come in all shapes and sizes from realistic portrait drawings, wedding paintings or large abstract pieces to complete their interior. I am always excited to try something new as what’s worse than putting a limit on creativity.
