ORIGINAL FLOATING SAGE GREEN & GOLD - Set of three miniseries FRAMED 36 x 17 cm
An original painting with a twist, the result of the piece began by experimenting with a new idea using three mini canvases. There is a softness of the calming sage green paint against the contrast of the bronze and gold tones, topped off with gold leaf and crushed glass that has resulted in a distinctive and unique one-of-a-kind piece of art. This painting like most of my other abstracts, has added textural paste giving it a three-dimensional aspect to make the artwork pop!
The uniqueness of the open back frame gives the illusion that the three canvases are floating within the frame. I created this effect for the purpose that I wanted the wall colour to be visible when hung, the painting will capture a different effect in any room.
With all my paintings they are finished with a professional strong hold permanent varnish to seal and protect the piece from dirt, dust and UV damage. Despite this, it is still recommended to resist handling the piece and to avoid hanging in direct sunlight.
