"Sage Wonders" An Original 50 x 50 cm Textural Abstract Painting
Recently, in between working on my first collection, I took some time too work on two large abstract paintings that were previously commissioned. After having an increased demand for my abstract paintings, I decided to squeeze in three new mini abstracts alongside for fun.
This being the second…“Sage Wonders” Inspired by the two commissioned pieces I was working on at the time. I used a similar tones, building up the layers with a custom made textural paste and incorporated many shades of metallic acrylic paints and gold leaf.
The piece can be purchased unframed or framed. I handcraft the frames to custom fit the 3.6cm box canvas, sink down the canvas into the frame to create a small shadowing effect and finish with either a stain or paint and a hard wearing stain varnish.
With all my paintings they are finished with a professional strong hold permanent varnish to seal and protect the piece from dirt, dust and UV damage. Despite this, it is still recommended to resist handling the piece and to avoid hanging in direct sunlight.
Artwork will come with a certificate of authenticity, care instructions and thank you card.
